  2. SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

  4. Ambient Ideas "iMode Switch" v1.23

  8. By downloading and installing iMode Switch (Copyright ⌐ 1998,
  9. Ambient Ideas, LLC), you agree to the following terms
  10. concerning usability and liability of this Ambient Ideas
  11. product.

  15. iMode Switch v1.23 is SHAREWARE. This means:
  16.  
  17.  - All copyrights to iMode Switch are exclusively owned by
  18.    Ambient Ideas, LLC.
  19.  
  20.  - Ambient Ideas grants a FREE 14 day license for use of
  21.    this software, starting from the date of INSTALLATION.
  22.  
  23.  - After 14 days, said software MUST be registered with
  24.    Ambient Ideas with appropriate compensation and
  25.    registration forms.
  26.  
  27.  - This software MAY NOT be used beyond the free 14 day
  28.    licensing period unless the previously stated conditions
  29.    have been satisfied. You must purchase a separate copy of
  30.    the software for EACH computer on which it is used.
  31.  
  32.  - Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive
  33.    license to use iMode Switch on (ONE) Personal Computer
  34.    (PC) at a time, for any legal purpose.  The registered
  35.    iMode Switch software may not be rented or leased, but may
  36.    be permanently transferred, if the person receiving it
  37.    agrees to terms of THIS license.  If the software is an
  38.    update, the transfer MUST INCLUDE the update and ALL
  39.    previous versions.

  42.  - Ambient Ideas grants permission to freely DISTRIBUTE this
  43.    Shareware product to electronic information services,
  44.    bulletin boards, and any other magnetic or optical medium,
  45.    PROVIDED the distribution package is NOT MODIFIED, and NO
  46.    fees are charged or collected for said distribution.

  48.  - Unless explicitly stated in writing, Ambient Ideas DOES
  49.    NOT grant permission to distribute the software for PROFIT
  50.    in any form.

  53.  - iMode Switch IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS".  NO WARRANTY OF ANY
  54.    KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Ambient Ideas, LLC, is not
  55.    responsible for any damage to the purchaser's computer
  56.    system or data and in no event will Ambient Ideas, its
  57.    officers, directors, employees or agents be responsible to
  58.    the purchaser for any consequential, incidental, or
  59.    indirect damages (including damages for loss of business
  60.    profits, business interruption, loss of business
  61.    information and the like) arising out of the use or
  62.    inability to use the Ambient Ideas product, even if
  63.    Ambient Ideas has been advised of the possibility of such
  64.    damages. Because certain states disallow the exclusion or
  65.    limitation of liability for consequential or incidental
  66.    damages, the above limitations may not apply in all cases.

  68.  - You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell,
  69.    modify, decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse
  70.    engineer, or transfer the licensed program, or any subset
  71.    of the licensed program, except as provided for in this
  72.    agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall result in
  73.    immediate and automatic termination of this license and
  74.    may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

  76.  - All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by
  77.    Ambient Ideas, LLC.
  78.  
  79.  - Installing and using iMode Switch signifies acceptance of
  80.    these terms and conditions of the license.

  82.  - If you do not agree with the terms of this license you
  83.    must remove iMode Switch from your storage devices and
  84.    cease to use the product.
